The sun, in its annual travels, is about at it most southerly point. While it gets colder and snowier out, it also means I get to enjoy sunsets behind the northern tip of the Oquirrh Mountains. Just behind Farnsworth Peak. In the summer time, the hot sun sets way to the north (to the right in the photo), out over the Great Salt Lake.

During the Fall and Spring, I find it fascinating to watch the sunsets quickly move between their northern and southern extremes. Not only has it become a signal for a change in the season, but it is also a reminder that there is much beauty to be found in the ever changing seasons of life.
